Miroslav Verbič is teaching the course Regression Models in Economics and Business at the Ph.D. programmes in Economics and Business of the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana from 20 January to 4 February 2025. The topics of the course are the following:

1. Multiple regression model and least squares estimation
2. Dummy explanatory variables and hypothesis testing
3. Model diagnostics
4. Estimation of models with endogeneity
5. Time series analysis and forecasting
6. Discrete choice analysis and maximum likelihood estimation
7. Panel data analysis
8. Causality and impact evaluation

The course is taught in English and is composed of 24 hours of lectures and 16 hours of computer exercises using Stata and R/RStudio econometric software. More about this in the section Courses.
